Question Cannot uninstall Microsoft Edge

When I try uninstall Microsoft Edge various ways on Windows 10 is displayed message:

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Edge is baked into the OS in such a way that I am not sure it is possible to fully uninstall it and keep all functionality.

And I will ask why are you trying to uninstall Edge?

And also how are you trying to uninstall Edge?

If you do not need Edge then ignore it.

If you need a browser then install some other browser.

Is there some problem with installing another browser?

More information needed.
