Suddenly started happening about a week ago ... suddenly, on 3 different laptops on home network.
W10 Pro, W10 Pro, W10 Home all version 22H2. Reported to MS via FEEDBACK. They accessed one of the machines and saw the problem. Ran sfc and dism utilities, uninstallted/reinstalled Edge, reinstalled windows with media creation tool, and could not fix the problem. They ended with "ignore the problem for now and wait for a 'new release'" except they did not tell me what new release ... for Edge or for Windows 10?
Here we are now with a new release of Edge. Only way to install it is to download it to desktop and install from there. "Check for updates" for Edge still fails.
