Cannot update pentium g630 bios to i3 ivy bridge bios

I just bought a new i3 3220 cpu, and I understand that I need to update the mobo's bios because my current bios only support pentium g630. But when I try to update the bios to ivy bridge, it says driver not found or something like that(I forgot). Simply, I cannot update it to ivy bridge eventhough my mobo support ivy bridge. Why is that? Need help ASAP. And my mobo use manual update as there's no ezflash.

My mobo is :
Acer veriton m2610g

Are you using usb to update first off?

Another problem may be that your motherboard is an oem so it may lock you out of moving from sandy bridge to ivy ridge

the bios is made to update in windows itself. there a readme file in the download on how to do it.
