Canon 300 scanner & Auto carrier 100r

I need the cable (8 Pin DIN plugs) to connect the Auto Carrier to the Canon 300 microfiche Scanner - how might I obtain one?

Google "8 Pin DIN plug Canon". Include the plug genders: i.e. M-F, M-M, F-F based on the Carrier and Scanner ports.

Check the applicable Canon User Guides/Manuals. There may some accessories/contents list with part number for the cable.

Go to Canon's website to find the User Guides/Manuals if necessary. Look for parts and accessories via the Support category.

What gender on the plug ends? Include that in any generic searches.
