Hi there...I just inherited a Canon i320 printer. It's been ages since I've owned an inkjet and I'm not familiar with the guts of the thing.

It won't work, at all. The light comes on and alternately blinks green/orange in a pattern that the guide says is a paper loading fault. However, the print head won't move of its own accord, and there's this strange, thin rubber belt that seems all loose inside and I don't know what the heck it's for!

It came in the mail encased in yards of bubble wrap...so I hope it's not damaged internally. Any ideas/help?

Much obliged,
Lou

Did you ever find a solution to the problem with the canon printer. I have had exactly the same thing with a Canon i850 and cant find any help.

Wow...blast from the past.

No, I never got the thing fixed. I took it apart and did manage to get the rubber belt back on but the printer never did work at all. Sorry Erdie...good luck to you tho.
