Guys, I'm trying to install Canon iR2318L on a Windows 7 64bit desktop pc. Downloaded the right drivers from Canon's site :

http://www.canon-europe.com/support/products/imagerunner/imagerunner-2318.aspx?type=drivers&driverdetailid=tcm:13-1369606&os=WINDOWS 7 (64-bit)&language=EN

The same copier works fine with Win XP 32bit (old desktop). Now that my client has brought a new PC, he wants to use the same copier with the new desktop. Tried running the setup but it just doesn't detect the USB and keeps giving error to retry . PC detects the copier when you check in devices & printers as Unknown iR2318/2320. Then I added a new printer assigned it USB port. Gave it the desired PCL5 or PCL6 driver. It installs fine. Also the print command is accepted but gives blank prints. I thought the copier might have run out of toner but NO! When I connected the old desktop it printed just fine. Anyone know which printer to select in from the INF file?? I don't see any iR2318L in the compatibility list while I add the printer. I selected the most common iR2200-3300 PCL5e, but in vain. It just throws out blank paper. I even tried selecting the nearest model no's like iR2420,2525 etc. The copier is connected via USB not LAN.

Any help would be really appreciated.
