Has anyone had the same problems as me?

I re-installed Windows XP Pro and Office XP. Ever since then I have no end of
problems with the N676U.

It was all working fine but now who knows.

I checked out the Canon site and followed their XP issues instructions to the
letter. As a matter of fact I did this several times as the driver and
software seemed to go in okay and would work great until I re-booted. Then it
was start all over again ie

Delete old driver (using Canon's software)
Re-run the toolbox and driver software (supposedly the latest from Canon)

I feel the only way to solve this is to swing over to an Epson scanner as
there does not appear to be too many XP issues with them.

Am interested to hear from anyone else who has had this problem.

Hi Peter,

I had a very similar problem with N1220U. I spent two evenings with no
results. I went to http://www.softpedia.com/ and found the right driver.
If that worked for me it should for you too.
