Canon Pixma 780 not printing left edge when printing emails

Have owned this printed for about 5 years and replaced one printhead. Works fine except when printing emails. About a quater inch of text on the left hand side does not print.
Please help!

I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY CANON PIXMA MX870,

WHEN I CALLED CANON TECH SUPORT TODAY I WAS TOLD THIS,

1. GO TO FILE AND OPEN IT

2. GO DOWN TO PAGE SETUP, OPEN IT

3. GO OVER TO YOUR MARGINS BOX AND ENTER THESE SETTINGS,

LEFT 0.5

RIGHT 0.5

TOP 0.75

BOTTOM 0.75

MY PRINTER IS PRINTING PERFECT, BOB
