I have the Canon Printer iP4200. It was installed on my Windows 8 laptop fine. I did a "restore to factory settings" today, loaded all other files/drivers back on no problem but when I try to do the driver for the printer, its now saying is no longer compatible for Windows 8??
I've tried using the disk and tried searching on the Canon site but they don't provide a driver there for this OS.
Is there any way around this so I can use the printer or must I buy a new one?

Solution
did you click on the SOFTWARE tab?

there are two software available for Windows8 64-bit and one of them is "My Printer V3.3.0".

Thank you. Have tried this but it just says "There is no recommended download for the OS version you selected."
