Canon printers usb issues

Hello,
Just bought canon Pima pro 9000mark II . Have HP media center PC 7640n computer. Canon manual setup says I must have hi-speed USB port on PC to be able to connect my new printer . HP web site is really tough to,navigate. Do I have a USB compatiblilty issue??? Thanks.

Come On,,,one of you IT genius' has this answer. 14 read this . Help ! The Canon tech rep just got back to me and he said he could not find the answer. Jeez. HP Media Center PC 7640n hooked up to new Canon Pixma 9000 mark II photo printer. I think all or most PC's after 2001 had high speed USB ports?? Please help this doofus.
