We have a Canon W8400 plotter printer but we can't print on it anymore. We didn't use it for a while, I don't know what the reason was why, maybe the current error. It's giving the error:
ERROR E02526
Not enough Ink
The cartridge BCI-1421PC is close to empy. But the thing is, we don't use the photo ink anymore because we don't have photo paper anymore, only regular paper. So I don't know if replacing the cartridge will solve the problem, but these cartridges costs over 100 euro's and that's a lot of money to buy something you aren't going to use.
What is exactly the difference between the photo ink and regular ink? And why is there no yellow photo ink?
These are the cartridges that go in the plotter:
Yellow Ink: BCI-1441Y
Magenta Ink: BCI-1421M
Photo Magenta Ink: BCI-1421PM
Cyan Ink: BCI-1421C
Photo Cyan Ink: BCI-1421CM
Photo Black Ink: BCI-1421BK
Matte Black Ink: BCI-1441MBK
