I've recently updated my PC from Windows XP to Windows 7. I have a Canon 350D camera & I've always used Zoombrowser EX to get images off my camera without any problems. With Windows XP the Zoombrowser Ex would auto pop up to ask would I like to download new images off the camera.
Since I've gone to Windows 7 this program no longer works and it does not recognise the camera at all. I've tried updating Zoombrowser to the latest version 6.9.0.1, but alas my problem still exists.
Please help!!!

Try plugging in the camera, then uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Sometimes software bugs out and doesn't install drivers. If that doesn't work, unplug the camera, uninstall the software and plug in the camera. Otherwise, try a restart. Don't hesitate to ask if you have more trouble!

I've tried looking in the device manager and when the camera is connected (& turned on) it appears under the "Portable Devices" section as "CANON EOS 350D DIGITAL".
when right clicking and selecting properties it reports that the device is working correctly. I also tried the "update Driver Software.." option and selecting search for drivers only for it to tell me that Window has determined the software for the device is up to date.
