Hi,

I have a CanoScan 4400F and I'm using ABBYY FinReader 12 Professional. I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The scanner has no Windows 10 driver, but I found reports online of people getting the scanner to work with the Windows 8.1 driver, so I installed that. Now when I try to scan an A4 sheet of paper, I only get the top third of the page. Please can someone suggest how I can get the whole page to scan?

Thank you,
Joe

I suspect the Win 8.1 driver isn't fully compatible with Windows 10.

You may want to look at using a third-party scanning software called "VueScan" which installs it's own scanner driver, it was released precisely to solve the problem of older scanners not being supported by the manufacturer on newer Windows versions:

What's more, the user interface is far superior to the scanner software you get with most consumer-level scanners. For that reason I still use it today with my new scanner even though I don't need to.
