Hello, I have some directories/files on my external HD that have characters like "<> ." I think i created them years ago on Ubuntu. The problem is that when i try to rename/move them I get the message "the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect". I read that one solution is to run chkdsk /f but my hd is a 4tb one and there's always a risk with chkdsk... is there any other way (even with some software) to be able to rename them? Thanks in advance!
