I have a very easy way of doing this. First copy any folder from your computer. Paste it on to your desktop. Create a copy of that folder and paste it again, on your desktop. Remove everything from that copied version and rename it New Folder. Right click anywhere else on the screen and go to New. You will see it is there again. I just tried it and it works perfect.
