Cant access 10.0.0.1

I want to port forward my minecraft server. I type 10.0.0.1 through my browser. and a pop up appears asking for my username and pasword. my username is admin and the password is password. after i type it i press enter. But the pop up appears again and asks for me to type it again! every time i type my username and password the pop up comes back like nothing happened before. Help please!

Looks like you did not leave the router at the factory default username and password.
Try doing a factory reset on the router but bear in mind you will need to completely reconfigure it all over again if you do.

So the username admin and the password "password" is not correct? because that is what it says on the back of the router.

If that router has been configured by someone else (or is hacked), then the only way to access it is to reset it. Usually there is a switch you either press by hand, or using a sharp object (eg paper clip) during power-up. Check with your router' manual. Do that while disconnected from Internet, and change the password before re-connecting.
