Question Can't access anything on my SSD.

Last night I got home from work and booted up my PC (Maingear VYBE) I've had it for a year with no issues but, when I booted it up hald my shortcuts where white and when I clicked on them I couldn't my games or Steam.

After messing around for a while I opened my disk Manger and it said my SSD (Disk 0) was unallocated so I tried to allocate/initialize it. This was met with an I/O Error. So I opened my case and made sure my SSD was connected and it was.

Any thoughts?

From your description I'd suspect SSD has died.
What is model name of your SSD ?

I'm not home at the moment it's a 1TB Segate SSD, assuming it died would I run across any issues buying a new one and simply swapping them out? My OS is on my NVME so it's not affected.

You'd have to reinstall all your apps and games, that were located on failed SSD.
