I wanted to boot up from a cd, but I can't access the BIOS on a Toshiba Satellite c660d.

During boot it asks you to press F2 to enter setup or F12 for a boot menu, but none of those work. Nothing happens when I press any other key either. I tried ESC, DEL, all F keys, and I guess all other keys with a shotgun approach.

The keyboard seems to work just fine when it gets to Windows though.

Any ideas?

when it is first restarting, spam the snot out of F2 or F12
Yup, I'm doing it. Nothing happens. It just continues to Windows. The text asking you to press F2 doesn't even change like some do. I even tried to remove the disk, in which case it also continues through with the boot up process and asks for a bootable device.

try resetting the CMOS by shutting down, remove CMOS battery for 10 minutes, then reinsert it and try then
