So I just fitted a new second SATA HDD into my machine (along with a GTX 760 and 750w PSU) and I wanted to look into the BIOS to check the drive setup but I can't seem to.
If I don't press anything during startup, Windows obviously boots from my original drive (though going through the mobo splash screen seems to take longer than I remember before the upgrade; any ideas?).
Pressing any of the prompted keys on the motherboard's splash screen does nothing, but if I repeatedly hit any of them until the splash screen ends, I eventually just get an everlasting blank screen; not even a Windows boot. It's like it's going to the BIOS but not displaying it; or maybe it's not going to BIOS at all. I've no idea.
I'm using a USB keyboard and mouse and have tried with leaving the mouse unplugged and changing the keyboard's USB port (I've read that USB devices can cause BIOS issues).
Suggestions? I'm not incredibly savvy with this stuff, so bear that in mind. Thanks.
