Hi

I have a wireless network currently set up. On my system I have two desktops
and a laptop. I can access any drive from any of the computers, including an
external hard drive on one of the desktops. I tried adding a second external
hard drive to my one desktop. The hard drive works on that desk top but I can
not access it on any of the other computers. I have set up the net work on
all computers and enabled file sharing. I can see the drive when I access the
workgroups. But when I click on the drive I get this error message:

\\Amyscomputer\I is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to findout if
you have access permissions.

Not enough server storageis available to process this command.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thank You!!

You must set up the drive by right clicking on it, select Sharing & security,
and share it with the network.

I have a similar problem. I have a external hard drive connected to a windows xp laptop and the rest of the computers are Vista. I get the same error message.

I have set the sharing and security permissions, but the network refuses to give the external drive access. I found one solution from microsoft which is called "Delete the lower and upper filters for USB Hard Drive or external hard drive", but this fix had some problems with other programs running on the XP laptop so I uninstalled the fix. With the patch the hard drive was completely accessible on the local network.

Let me know if you have found any fixes.
