I have also tried go into properties and check for errors but this shows up:

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi there michael5242,

The first thing you may want to do is to back up the data stored on the accessible partitions.

I would totally agree with CountMike. You need to go to Disk Management and see how the drive appears over there.
Some screenshots will be of help. Just upload the screenshot to an image hosting website and post the link.

You may need to use some partition/data recovery tool. After that, you can check the drive's health status out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
