Just recently I installed a new gtx 970, however when I completed installing the drivers and wished to switch out of my integrated graphics I get the error "you are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU" every time I launch the NVIDIA control panel.

Cheers

Solution
''you are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU''

are you hooked up to the card ?? your not still on the motherboard dvi or hdmi ports are you ?

what motherboard and card and all are you using this would help a lot could be you trying to use a wrong driver or something

even from here it says like I said above

also be sure the bios is set to use pci-e card and not still set to onboard use may not auto detect that
well look at this windows control panel - administrative tools - services - scroll now to ''NVidia display driver services'' and see if its set under start up type automatic ..

one driver I used changed that to disabled just re set back to automatic and all was good ???
