I have a Netgear WNR1000v3 router that I just reset to factory defaults, and now when I run ipconfig /all it doesn't show up as having a gateway. Note that I am connecting with a laptop wired in to a LAN port on the router. (also tried on WAN port) Here is what shows up:

Code:

I would do a second reset of the router, power cycle the router, and try another LAN port -- they occasionally go bad -- also try a new cable.

Does the laptop show the adapter as working properly in the device manager and is there an updated driver available from the laptop manufacturer website?

The default gateway will be 192.168.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0 user: admin p/w: password
