Can't access router set up page of SPEEDPORT ENTRY 2i

Hello all, I need a guiding light guys.... I own a SPEEDPORT ENTRY 2i router of COSMOTE(GREECE) and I'm facing an issue here. I'm unable to access the set up page of the router via 192.168.1.1 wired and wireleslly from my laptop and my pc, the only way to make it, is with my smartphone. I also tried with a utp cable with no success from both machines which run windows10 pro 64bit. I tried ipconfig and the defult gateway is correct (192.168.1.1) . Tried many browsers with same result, factory reset didnt help. please help .

are you saying you are not getting a web page from your router or your trying to get in with username and password and were denied. ?

Alright look to make it clear, I'm able to connect to internet , both with wifi and with utp cable, but the only way to see the set up page is via my smartphone.

okay so you can get to router menus by smart phone, but not by any other device. then is the smartphone using some app or are you using a web browser on the phone ? you mentioned the IP for the router, I will assume it is the same Ip your addressing on your smart phone to see the router web pages ?

Yes of course its the same Ip im using on my phone na dmy wife's pgone also. Im using chrome browser on my phone and my wife uses default app of ios (dont remember name sorry)

and you have tried Internet explorer using https:// not http:// before the IP ?

Yep,nothing happened.

when you say nothing, are you getting a 404 error ? a "cannot access this page ? does it give you a "fix my connection button ?"

you need to give more details mate.. trying to help but getting information from you is like pulling teeth.

Sorry didnt mean to but im not the most experient on those issues and if I new ,I would provided the details you say, believe me and Im sorry ,really need a solution here. So a page appears which says "your internet access is blocked. Firewall or antivirus may have blocked the connection....
Try...... i believe you know the rest. I have installed kis 2017 and I already tried by exiting from the tray the antivirus with no change , also i deactivated the windows firewall and the router's too, also with no success.

just going to put things for you to check.

1. start, control panel, windows firewall, should show : Private network Connected
on the left side, click on Turn window firewall on or off
then select turn off window firewall then ok

try to access web page. if fail see below

2. Kaspersky Internet Security (2017), I would go ahead, turn it on, then goto settings and disable firewall from inside it.

3. what operating system are you using Windows 7 or 10 ?

I just tried an other laptop which runs win 8.1 and it worked. mine runs 10 im pretty sure that its 10's fault. But I dont know what to do. At least I made sure tha the router has no issues.

tried those but no luck... probably compatibility issue with win 10

Kis 2017 caused the problem, apparently switching off the firewall from the inside was not enough, so in as despered as i was I though whta would happened if uninstall kis 2017 and so was it! There was light! I feel some like stupid now as it was such a simple issue. Now all i have to do is to make rules in kis firewall! Thnks for your time
