cant access the bois

hello i have a question ive been trying to figure it out for a while. my computer on bootup has been taking about 4 mins on a black screen and does like a double boot thing it will turn the mouse lights on and off during the time but will eventually boot... the problem is that i need to get into the bios but duiring boot all it does is go right to my desktop and during the boot ive tried just pressing the buttons to open it and it does nothing

Hello Rj2898,

If the proper buttons aren't sending you to BIOS you might try resetting your CMOS.

Each motherboard has the jumper in a slightly different place, but look at your motherboard manual and it should say specifically where your CMOS jumper is and how to reset it.

Hey thanks for replying I just took my gpu out and went through my mobo and I xould open it why do u think this is

I'm not quite sure I follow the question. You took your graphics card out, what's the next question exactly?

I just don't know why I can't get to the bios with my gpu

Is your GPU blocking the CMOS jumper? That is extremely uncommon. What is the exact model of your motherboard?

It is a asus rog crossblade fm2 socket

Something I noticed to is at the beginning of the boot with the gpu in the computer will beep at me
