Hi there.

I bought a new mobo and now I can't activate W10. Everytime I installed it, I selected "Set up for personal use" and it refuses to do it, it chose an organization. I tried this multiple times.
I tried changing the Network ID but it stayes the same (Pc name change worked).
Latest Windows was installed from Microsoft (free version).
In activation setting it shows Error 0x8007007B

This is the new mobo i bought GA-970A-DS3P
Windows was downloaded via Media Creation Tool

Right.
And that is a result of not having a license key yet.
Or the "key" your friend gave you is invalid or used elsewhere already.

Once you purchase a valid Win 10 Pro license, it should activate no problem.
"valid Win 10 Pro" = about $140.

You absolutely do not need a license key to complete a Win 10 Pro installation.

Selecting the second option in that screen does not work?

What is the screen you see right before the one that errors on you?

But why is my Windows 10 set for an organization. I saw few settings that i cannot change cuz it's not "my pc".
PS my friend just bought me that Key.. he says its a valid one time use.

"organization" ?
That would probably be do some choices you made during the install.
Or installing the wrong version.

"one time use" ?
A valid Win 10 license can be reinstalled more than "once".

This is the step where i had to choose (https://imgur.com/siEnfuQ). I choose the first one. I'm 100% sure.
I used pirated windows a few times (preactivated windows) and it didnt work. I used W7 that was also preactivated and it didnt work. I used Windows 7 Black Edition with a legit key and it didnt work.

I dont know about the key he just said it works. Ill try using it after and if this gets fixed.

I just went through the whole install, Unactivated, and had no issues like what you see.

However, it was an older Win 10 Pro...v1507

I will create a brand new install, with the current v1803, and try it again.
But I've never seen what you describe happen, when using a valid Win 10 of the proper version.

After all these pirated and "preactivated" versions...you've done a full wipe and reinstall?

Because it was a new Mobo i had to format Hdd completely.
I formated my Hdd only two time, the 1st time and maybe after a 3rd or 4th try.
Keep it in mind that my windows and drivers are on C: and games on D: like steam and whatnot.
Before every windows instalation i had to format C:.

Thx for the help!
