Hey there,

I'm unable to add or remove any data in/from my SanDisk micro SD card(class 10,32gb)which I use in my android phone...

-->I connect phone via usb data cable to pc...I copy files, it finishes but when I remove the phone nothing adds up(nothing copies).

-->Same case when I remove data...PC deletes the files folder, but then again nothing happens in the phone when I browse through file explorer.

-->Even tried connecting the SD card via card reader.Same problem.

**Cant format..getting error "Windows was unable to format"
**Tried SDFormatter software says the SD card is Write-Protected.

BASICALLY SD CARD IS IN A LOCKED STATE...SAME OLD DATA STAYS IN IT EVEN AFTER MANUALLY DELETING OR COPYING ANYTHING NEW...

Please help....
Thanks

Hey there, maanas29.

Unfortunately, in most cases whenever a flash drive or an SD card start acting up like this and locks itself up, it means that it has probably failed. However there are still a few things you could try in order to remove the write-protection. Here's an article with a few suggestions, which might prove useful: http://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Write-Protection. Give them a try, to see if you can fix things up.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
