I have a similar problem with skype. When I open the laptop usually the first call I will be not able to answer. I click to answer but nothing happens. I just have to wait till the call ends.
The interesting thins is that the skype doesn't freez, I can even go to settings or writing messages, but they don't go. And usually the second call I can answer. When I can't answer I open the Task Manager and you can see there that the Audio Isolation...smth is using the hard rive a lot. But when I am able to respond to the call or to make the call this program is almost not using the hard drive.
Specs: Lenovo Y580 Model 2099
CPU: Intel i7 3630QM
RAM: 8GB
Video: Nvidia GTX 660M
HDD: 1TB 5400 RPM
