Question Cant attach a folder to an email

I know how to attach a photo and a word doc to an email but i cant seem to attach a save game folder to send to a games company , i click attach then find the folder and click on it.

The only option i have is to open it , how do i attach it unopened

Hello Colif ... i managed to send it as a zipped folder but something odd happened , i use thunderbird email and have both B.T. email and g mail accounts in it.

I tried to send it through my B.T. mail account and it would not let me as it said something on the lines of .... you dont appear to have the correct permissions to do this.

I never let things beat me ..... i copy/pasted everything into my g mail address and it got sent without any permissions messages ..... figure that one out if you can

When you copy, you create a new file that you own, and can do anything you like with. I don't know what the original files are, but windows may think one of its system users owns them.

That is the reason one worked and other didn't.

Zip files can contain viruses and malware and are usually blocked by email. Change the file extension if you want to actually send it.

Or rename .zip to .piz and have recipients change the extension back to .zip

My first post wasn’t clear. This is how I do it
