So this happend. I hade a 650 gb disk with windows xp and got a new 240 gb SSD disk. I wanted to have windows 7 on the new disk so i innstaled it on the new SSD from windows. After doing this i got the option of wich windows I wanted to boot when starting up. After doing this I booted with the windows 7 disk and the formated the old disk. When I then tried to boot I got the message BOOTMGR is missing". I tried to disconect the old disk and I tried to formate the SSD and then it over again. It worked but onec i plugged the old disk back in i got the same message "BOOTMGR is missing". What to do?

You're trying to boot from a formatted disk. If the disk has been formatted, it will have nothing to boot, and no boot manager to tell the system where to find the OS.

Plug in both drives, and go into your BIOS. Set up your boot disks so that the SSD is the first on the list (or at least above the HDD), save, and reboot. Should be fixed.
