I just bought an Intel series (sata) ssd and just cloned my hdd to my ssd and when I try to boot from the ssd it won't boot. I have cloned it 3 times now and I have used Intel migration software and todo backup to clone.

Blue screen with this pops up
windows/system32/logfiles/srt/srttrail

After cloning, install the SSD into the sata port that the older boot drive was in. Boot up and make sure your system is running right. Then shut down and install the old boot drive into a different sata port, boot up and you should have access to the old boot drive too.

Have you set up the BIOS yet or at all? Sometimes a clean install is needed especially if there are corruptions on the original boot drive. Try installing windows onto the SSD with no other drives installed. Then load MB drivers and etc and after your system is running right you can install the old boot drive and any others if there are any.

Because of so many attempts, you might need to do a secure erase of the SSD before doing anything else with it.

What is the exact model SSD? MB, memory kit and CPU?
