Hello!

So here's the problem:
The first time I installed windows on my PC, I installed it on a regular 500 GB disk. The second time I installed it on a 120 GB Samsung SSD without deleting anything on my first disk (since I didn't back up my stuff). Yesterday I used the Win7 DVD to format the old disk, and I also deleted the 100 MB System Reserved Partition on the same disk.

Now my SSD won't boot. I get:
Boot from CD/DVD
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Anyone got a solution without having to install windows again?

Thanks in advance

Solution
Hi Lars_2.!
your problem is a bit simple.
First of all tell me your Motherboard model...
OK here are the steps. follow them carefully.
1.> Boot the computer.
2.>on the boot screen, open setup or BIOS of the computer.
3.>search and find BOOT ORDER in BIOS.....don't change any other setting of the BIOS.
4.>in the boot order, select SAMSUNG SSD and put it on number 1.
5.>save changes and exit the bios.

if this don't help then i think you have formatted the MBR of the OS, which is the 100 MB.so you will have to install a fresh OS.BEST OF LUCK !!!

Don't forget to hit the best solution button if this answer solves your problem..THANKSS.
