Hi there, a couple of years ago I built my first gaming PC. I decided to upgrade to windows 10, so I bought an OEM disc.
The problem is when I try to boot from a USB dvd drive its either waiting a long time on the startup BIOS screen and then loading windows 7 normally or its just shutting down shortly after the BIOS screen.
I have set the boot priority to load from the USB drive and legacy boot setting are all enabled but nothing. I am pretty sure I used the same method to install windows 7 in the first place.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to help it would be greatly appreciated. Also when in windows it can see the drive and has an autoplay for the windows 10 setup, could I possibly just upgrade by running the setup while using Windows 7?
Thanks.
