Hi there,
I'm building a system for a friend, I finished putting together all of the parts, and then proceeded to boot from my USB drive, on which I ran the windows USB boot utility. I had used this previously on my PC, and was able to successfully install windows 7 on it, but now for some reason the first USB I tried was being detected, but we couldn't boot from it, said something along the lines of "insert a bootable device...". Oh yeah, and it also got VERY hot and it now no longer works. So the 2nd USB we tried, the same thing happened except the USB wasn't being detected at all this time.
So after that, I then went on to burning my windows 7 ISO onto a CD, to boot from that. But I then got an IO error.
I am now all out of ideas on how to fix this problem, any ideas?
Thanks,
Kieran.
