Cant boot from USB

Hi, Im using Biostar mcp6p m2 motherboard and I want to boot Linux from USB (I made bootable usb with Rufus). The problem is that when it should boot from USB it just says "No bootable device found". On google I found just that I have to change boot mode or enable legacy usb support but I cant find these options in Bios. Any help?

Hello... as a "simple test" of making/testing a "Bootable USB stick" (you don't need to use rufus?... any win OS can make one)

The first thing you should try/practice doing is making a bootable USB2 stick first... if you have another computer, insert the USB2 stick and right click it... format-FAT32-click box "create MS-DOS start up disk" and see if that will boot from your USB2 port on your MB first B /

Typically the USB MB options will be in "integrated peripherals" section (look in your MB manual/PDF)... save&exit

Also try in different USB ports, not all might be active

did it like you said with MS-DOS and again the same message... and in Integrated peripherals there is nothing about USB, like a Bios doesnt recognize my USB...

Hello... 1) Does the "bootable" USB2 stick work on the computer you made irt with?

2) You need to change your BOOT order in the BIO's TOO... putting the USB on top of the list save&exit...
or you can disconnect the HARD drive too as a "simple Test. B /

3) Do you have your PDF for that MB? do a "WORD Search" for "USB" and/or "Legacy".

4) MB Bio's also have a "F-key" options at BOOT, too manually pick your bOOT device... Mine is F12 for example, for the BOOT menu.
