Can't boot into Kon-Boot

So, I want to play Minecraft on my Dell laptop. Unfortunately, I forgot my password. I tried Kon-Boot. It supposed to success, but my laptop can't boot into CD. When I press Bot from CD, It beep 4 times and then left the whole screen with a symbol: _. I tried to search in Google, but It gave me no result. I put that CD to my next laptop HP. And this time It's success.

does the dell have a locked bios by any chance? Anyway we can't help with it because there's no way for us to know if it's yours or not.

F12 normally give a boot device menu and thats all the help I can give for the same reasons as above.
