[SOLVED] Can't boot into Mac OSX with Imac

Upon bootup, My Imac freezes and won't load the Mac OS, When I hold down the option key on power up I can get to the screen asking me what operating system to chose. I can open bootcamp but not Mac OSX....Has worked fine for years. I get a reoccuring message box when in Win7 on bootcamp saying hard disk failure. Comments?

The error message seems fairly clear. Your hard disk is failing and needs to be replaced. With any luck you have a Time Machine backup so this should be a simple procedure (depending upon which iMac it is - Apple don't make it easy to get into those things).
