I just finished building a new PC, I'm trying to install Windows 7 but everytime I try the computer rejects all input once I reach the install screen.

The keyboard/mouse work elsewhere, but as soon as the install screen pops up it's unresponsive.

Integrate USB drivers into windows 7 installation.
You can use Gigabyte Windows USB install tool for this.

Or you could install from sata connected DVD drive using PS/2 connected keyboard/mouse. Then USB drivers would not be necessary during install process.

I suggest switching to Win 10. With new systems, like Ryzen, the unresponsive USB is driver related.

I downloaded the windows 10 boot media from Microsoft's support site, but when I boot to the USB it just blue screen and says KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Not really sure what to do about that
