Can't boot past MB screen, can't access bios because keyboard won't work.

Hi folks, my issues started when I came int my office and saw "boot mgr missing press ctrl+alt +delete to restart". I obeyed the machines orders and did that, but I got the same screen. I've had this once before and I solved it by unplugging my HDDS and plugging them back in. I tried this again and tried various Sata cables but nothing worked. I left it to figure out later, today I went to try more things but now it gets to the gigabyte splash screen but no further. I've read other posts about this but they mostly suggest entering boot manager and farting around with that, the problem is that neither my keyboard or my mouse has power. I've tried other keyboards and mice but I can only get my external HDD and my joystick to get any sort of power. Please help! Thanks

it could be a simple bios battery failure try buying one of them batteries in the motherboard I think that will fix your problem

you should be able to get one for a pound or two from any battery shop they are quite easy to get hold of
