Hi all -

Just installed an m.2 stick and now my computer wont recognize the 500gb SSD I have installed and use as my primary boot device. Looking for some assistance as when I boot to BIOS to set the boot priority, I am only seeing the M.2 and not the SSD.

Thanks!

Check your board's manual to see what type of m.2 it supports. For instance, a board's slot could support m.2 NVME but not m.2 SATA.
Any chance the SATA drive might be connected to one of two ports (often first and second port, and/or, 5th and 6th, if two are used) often disabled when an M.2 drive is inserted?

(Varies with chipset, and if/NVME vs. SATA drive used in M.2, where4 applicable)
