Can't boot up with the Windows 7 Installation Disc

Right, when i try to boot up the Installation Disc of Windows 7 to re-install the system, it just doesn't. I start up the PC, and after that it just resets, infinitely. Went into the BIOS settings and set the boot to be from the CD Drive. Still does the same thing. Don't know what the problem could be, either the disc or the PC. Help!

did the system come with Windows7?

make sure legacy boot mode is enabled.
