It's a Gateway LT20 with an Intel Atom CPU. The netbook originally had windows xp on it but it became inoperable and I simply wiped it because system restore would not start and it could not be reset to factory settings. So after i wiped the hard drive i tried booting the windows OS from a usb to no avail, then i tried to install ubuntu and that worked right away. I have already created an NTFS partition from Ubuntu and yet every time I boot from the USB nothing happens. I've tried multiple programs like rufus and yumi, i have used two different usb's, different iso files (all of which were seen as bootable by MagicIso) and yet no installation prompt ever pops up. At best i try to install it and the screen says error 15 file not found. Should I just take off the sticker that says "designed for microsoft windows xp" or am i missing something in the installation process?
