Can't boot Yosemite in VmWare

Whenever I try to run Yosemite on laptop booting from the hard rive and DVD ROM is unsuccessful. Please help.

This isn't a windows 8 issue. The probably issue is that you're trying to run OSX virtualized in a Windows environment. It never works as intended.

Nah I downloaded the disk image or .dmg and then converted it to .iso because Vmware don't support .dmg
