Can't browse using ethernet

When I am connected to the internet via wifi, my pc can freely browse. However, when I connect to Ethernet, the connection is much faster, but I cannot browse using any browser. I've tried using different Ethernet cables, and the result is the same.

So when you say the connection is much faster, what is faster at doing?

While your statement is completely correct that ethernet is faster than wifi, knowing what is working properly on the connection will be very helpful in diagnosing your issue.
