Can't change 54g Mode on SBG6782-AC

Hello mates!!

I'm wondering if anyone knows why I cannot change the 54g Mode on my SBG6782-AC. Here is a screenshot and the drop-down selection is greyed out.

Yes but how do I change it to the mode 54g Performance if I want to use that mode instead..?

I tried disabling the wifi radio. Then, went back to 54g Mode options. Still greyed out; cannot change it. I tried unscrewing my coaxial cable. Still cannot change the 54g Mode. What do you exactly mean by stop the connection first?
