Question Can't change case fan speeds

I have:
Thermaltake case Commander c31
MSI x570 gaming plus

The fan controller for the case fans are attached to a fan controller with some 6 pin proprietary connector. This controller has a connector to my motherboard that works with the jrainbow port and I can control the argb aspect of it. However the power appears to be powered by sata only from the PSU.
Is there no way to go from 4 pin PWM to SATA to connect to this fan controller?
Do either of these do what I am looking for?

It looks like the cable that goes to the sata power is 4 lines on the cable and 4 pins connected directly to the board. Could one cut and add the 4 pin PWM connector on the other side? That said I have not identified what these 4 pins are going into the fan controller.
