Cant change date

Hey i wanna change my samsung coreprimeve date But it hold it 2017 and it wont move more than 2036 less than 2000.
Whats the deal?

Why would you want to change a date beyond that range? There is no reason to do so. Please clarify your intent.

Why no reason. Every human has a private reason for it self. My reason is personal.

The date range is likely locked by the Android OS to prevent users from purposefully damaging the device. Likely, there is no solution beyond rooting the system.

Good luck with whatever your personal reason is. The question was asked, BTW, to look for alternatives.
