Cant change res in Combat Arms

I recently downloaded combat arms and when I launch the game it opens in 1024 x 768 so I cant see the whole screen and change the resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

you montior is bigger then 1024x768 , why can't you see the whole screen and change the resolution?

I cant know where is the problem, i just launched the game and found all of the resolutions that my monitor can provide in the options. If you mean how you change it, then when you enter a server and channel on the top right of the screen you can find rectangle in which words combat arms are written, click on it and choose options, you will find the graphics tab the first one and at the top of this tab you can find the resolution adjustment, choose your resolution which is your monitor's, if this is not your problem at all, then please explain further what prevents you from changing the res.

My problem is when it launches part of the screen gets cut off and I cant get to the options menu to change the resolution.
