Can't change resolution

After installing a new processor, the resolution locked at 1024x768. I've tried updating drivers and everything else other forum pages said to do but nothing works. Processor is an "AMD APU w/ Radeon R7 Graphics"

If proper drivers don't work (you need to download catalyst drivers from AMD's website), then the only possible explanation is that your monitor doesn't actually support any other resolution in it's current setup. Perhaps the monitor is old or you are using an older kvm switch.

Solved! The auto updater did not work. Had to find the drivers in the list.

Solved! The auto updater did not work. Had to find the drivers in the list.

In other words, you didn't download the drivers from the website. Make sure you update the drivers by going to the AMD website every once in a while.
