also if it helps i am thinking i3 530 that i will oc to 4ghz maybe higher 4gb dual channel ddr3 2000
donno if i have to have dx11 for ff14 i heard something about it using it or if it would help to have it im kinda on a budget but let me know if im goin overboard some were also not gonna do sli or crossfire atleast not now

Solution
That PSU would be fine but it is quite expensive for a 450w, even a good one, especially with that $10 in shipping. For example you can get a 650w of the same brand for slightly less(after the promo code);
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005
But really that is overkill. Considering the cost of that PSU and the HD4850s you are looking at you should be able to swing this instead;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.469181
The card is significantly better, much more power efficient and DX11 while the PSU is modular for a less cluttered case and more than powerful enough for the card.
Alternately you can get a basically free DVD burner with the PSU...

thank you and im glad i asked because that hierarchy chart was confusing me and from what i can tell it said the 5550 was better but from what i could tell spec wise 4850 was better and is dx11 necessary? and choosen between the core clock or effective memory which would be better its a small difference between the 4850 but in general which should be better

FF14 does not use DX11 but other games do and more will in the future.
The hierarchy chart is pretty simple. Higher = better and the HD4850 is 9 tiers higher.
To pick out the right card we need more information. What is your monitor's native resolution, how much can you spend and what power supply are you using?

haha i get it now i was reading it backwards i thought it was goin down to the better cards wondered why the i3 was so high i was planning on actually using my 42" hd tv for a screen is that a bad idea its 720p so i guess it would be 1,366x768 and also i thought i read somewhere that ff14 was dx11 well atleast thats one less thing to worry about the power supply is

is my planned psu but is subject to change i prolley shoulda mentioned im building a pc from scratch its not my first but i have been out of the pc gaming realm for about 5 or 6 years so im kinda lagging behind on finding out whats out there

and a good deal for a different HD5770 with 4 gigs of DDR3 1600;

Solution

Well DX11 lets you play DX11 games and use its features but HD 550 isn't a great card for gaming(compared to 4850) so it won't perform very well in DX11 titles,so go with 4850 because its faster.
Between those 4850's,all of them are good.The ASUS model is opened-box and i recommend going with a retail mode.Between those other 2,I personally prefer Sapphire over Gigabyte but both are good brands

^+1 great suggestions and your're much better off with a 5770.

Thermaltake LANBOX Lite VF6000BWS Black SECC Japanese steel Gaming Cube 70.64

but the 4 virtual cores with hyper threading oc to 4 or 4.2ish ghz just seems better to me i mean not sure these are also my first multi core i stopped at singles but just for gaming shouldnt the 2 be better than the 4 because thats all il really be doin on this pc for the most part besides the ocasional video streaming but the gaming aspect is my main concern since i have other pcs for other stuff

Well ideally you would get an i5-750 for the best of both. Most games are still limited to 2 cores but a number can utilize more and that trend will only increase as time goes on. Ignoring the case the components you have listed are $510 after rebates.
You could go for something like this to get a quad core i5;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.469926
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.443048
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.469090
That totals $520 after rebates. Also the motherboard can crossfire(it only lists SLI but it can crossfire) if you ever upgrade to a 1080p monitor and want to add another for performance similar to an HD5870.
